A Joint Graduate School in Biodiversity and Biosecurity has now been established between the University of Auckland and Landcare Research. The School will focus on postgraduate supervision and is an extension of the Centre for Biodiversity and Biosecurity. The university has made five part-time co-appointments of Landcare Research staff, so we welcome Prof. Bill Lee, Prof. Roger Pech, Prof. Dave Choquenot, Associate Prof. Thomas Buckley, and Associate Prof Dianne Gleeson. We will shortly provide a link to the Joint Graduate School, which will be based on the University of Auckland website.
